Jaltepeque....."Jal" means sand and "tepeque" means place in Nahuat......"Place of sand". Jaltepeque is a estuary.....this is a view of the estuary. Chichontepec volcano is at the back at the center. I took this picture Oct 8, 06......Made several versions......
