300MB space, 10GB traffic $5 a month

Hey everyone!

Today, I'm here to offer you great web hosting for a low prie with great features that few hosting companies use! Like all accounts have standard access by FTP AND SSH!

Our First Package is for the average person, the Personal Web Hosting Package!

1. Personal web hosting: ($5)
= Up to 300 MB of web space!
= 1 mysql database!
= website accessible from http://hosting.watnet.org/~username/
= reasonable amount of traffic* (see below)
Upgrades:
+ Business upgrade: ($5)
= Additional 700MB (total of 1GB ) web space
= 4 additional mysql databases
+ Dedicated IP: ($10)
= Access your site from http://66.180.172.x/
= Access logs for your site
+ SSL secured site ($10 + Dedicated IP)
= HTTPS security on website
+ Additional mysql database: ($1)
+ Additional web space: ($1 per MB )
+ Relaxed traffic restrictions: ($10)* see below

* Web traffic notes: Reasonable amount of traffic is defined by us and can change on a case by case basis. As a general rule of thumb, anything under 1000 unique hits a day for a standard website (less than 50kB per page) is reasonable. If you go slightly over 1000 hits one day, don't be concerned. If your site gets Slashdotted we won't pull the plug. Surviving a Slashdotting is a bit of a bragging right, both for you and for us. If your site generates a large amount of traffic on a day to day basis we will require you to upgrade your account.

Our second package is... Shell Hosting!

2. Shell hosting: ($10)
= Includes 2 processes and 1 IP address
= We allow IRC related stuff
Upgrades:
+ Additional processes: ($3 per process)
+ Additional IP addresses: ($5 per IP address)
+ Extra resource usage by a process: ($10 per process)

Notes on shell hosting:
NO SPAMMING. We mean this. If you are caught sending spam from your shell account, it will be removed IMMEDIATLY. You WILL NOT get a refund, and you WILL NOT get a chance to back up your files.
If your process interferes with normal operations of the shell it will be terminated. If it uses excessive resources you will be required to upgrade your account to keep the process running. Excessive usage is using more than 5% CPU and 3% memory for longer than 10 minutes.
NO XDCC BOTS (or any other type of file server bot) unless arrangements have been made.

Our Third Package is the IRC package!

3. IRC Package: ($20)
Includes:
= Personal web hosting with dedicated IP
= 3 processes with 1 IP

For the fourth package, and second last... it's an XDCC Package! Host your own bot, send out images of your favourite linux distro, hand out movies of yourself falling into a swimming pool, whatever as long as it's legal.

4. XDCC Package: ($25)
Includes:
= 1 process with 1 IP address
= 2GB of storage
= Allows running XDCC or other file transfer bot
Upgrades:
+ Extra storage ($5 per GB )

And for all the people who like straming music to people to listen to, we have the Icecast Stream! Better than the SHOUTcast, Icecast allows you to even broadcast off/vorbis stream AND better quality for lower bandwidth speeds!

5. Icecast stream: $20
Includes:
= 1 mount point on server
= up to 1280kbps send (10 listeners @ 128kbps, 20 @ 64kbps, etc.)
Upgrades:
+ Additional send ($1 per 128kbps)

Well this -is- what the forum is for, but I agree with Artoonator that the spam factor is high.
Don't forget that for USD 2.00 a month you can upload your work directly to GFXartist, no hassle. Plus, you get some extra cool functions
