Hi artists! I know that I've still not finished my Vouivre (Wyvern) painting, but when I can't access to the computer, I'm also doing some pencil drawings. Here's the one I'm actually doing (I've been lazy and used a ref for the face/lighting, sorry. The ref is from a fashion advertisment magazine I've found on the table at home. That's the only male shot I liked in it.), crits are very welcome I know that the beard looks actually flat, I'll try to fix the problem. I would like to have your opinion on what he'll wear on the head. Do you think that I should do a leather hair ornament or a metallic one? I'm planning to add shells and sea snails (dunno the english name for these thingies) on his "crown" since he's meant to be the king of a sea tribe. I've actually spent approximatively 5 hours on it, I guess that I'll have to work 20 or 30 more hours to finish it. The scan looks crappy, the left part of the face (especially the eye) is much darker that that irl. I'll try to take a photo of it, the quality will probably be better ref :

A little update (sorry for working so slowly, I'm also working on other projects I can't show here unfortunately so it's time consuming). I hope you'll like it, it's a little bit messy for now but I'll fix it some details It's drawn on the cheapest paper ever (bad normal A4 paper for printers) with 2B and 8B pencils and my 0,3mm mechanical pen HB. Sorry for the bad scan

I just thought it was a photo pasted on a lineart drawing. but I just found out it was a DRAWING!!! I donM't understand, it's so realistic! and All those details, .......... **speechless**............. ...... ... Heart Attack no seriously, I truly admire you, And I don't say that just to be nice.

I don't like the photo of him hes fugly BUT your sketch looks like a whole different man and hes fricking HOT I would tap him! lol any hoot keep it up what will you put on his head? what ever you do make it macho and not sissy whimpy he has a very sexy face he needs something sexy for his head! also I don't know how you do it jumping from WIP to WIP I could never do that...

Thank you very much I agree with you Pam, he's not very hot on the photo He looks like a plastic man!
