Sorry for the WIP flooding guys, I promise that I won't post more WIP until I can finish one of the actual WIP I've posted I had started a serie about the elements with my Sea Dancers, so here's the second painting of the serie. The beautiful model is Rachael, aka  EideticImage . Her intense eyes fit very well the fire spirit! She had sent me this photo some weeks ago and I've started it today, sorry for being so late.... I hope you'll like it (and I hope she'll like it too!) Crits are very welcome, even though it's a little bit early to really crit 1st step : 2 3 4 5 6 7 More coming soon

Thank you very much Glenn! Another step : The face is quite finished but I still have to work on the eyes and lips. I'll also add some ornaments on her forehead.

The hair is going to be liquid lava. She's standing on a lava river on the ground. I've added some reflections to her face It's still a quick sketch but I like the composition. Crits are very welcome

i hope you're going to do something more complex on the breast area...just a simple top wouldnt be enough imo

Yes, don't worry The top will be lava flowing too. I'll have to texture it but I want to texture the hair first. The only worked part is actually the face

Thank you very very much artists! *feels highly motivated* The lava on the shoulder looked very bad, I've changed it, I think that it's slightly better now I'll have to do the whole hair like that, turning into the lava river on the ground. Thanks for all your support!

Another update Making this damn lava flow look right is very hard, but I'm trying to do it as well as I can.... I just hope that I won't read somewhere "OMG, look at that chocolate cream flow, that looks very realistic", that would kill me! More coming soon, crits are very very very welcome!

This hair looked too contrasted (the normal lava is not so contrasted and the transition between "fresh" and dry lava is more gradient. I've tried to fix that. I've also added "cold" light on her skin to match the reflections in her eyes. I've tried to make her skin glow since she's meant to be the fire spirit. Here are the 2 last steps of the painting

Thank you very much I don't really have the time to do all of these paintings (I have a lot of work), I'm doing them when I find some free time between some "comissions" because I need to do some other things for fun or I'll start hating to paint. An update : I've worked on the lava flow and added some glow to her hair and face I don't really have time to checkout the newly submitted artworks for now, I'm in a hurry so please PM me if you want a crit/comment
