think of it this way.. you just been hired to make an album cover... all you are given is the music... thats it, no title no nothing. you are told to listen to the music and paint draw - manip or 'do what ever'... then slap it on the CD cover.. in real life you really wouldn't slap it on the CD cover but for this contest do it like that for presentation now using a band name like say example KISS well...I would rather you would make up a name or have NO name.. but rather just making up a title adding the little things you see on a CD like explicit lyrics and what not is cool but try not to use existing band names. use your imagination this counts Another way around the band name without breaking the rules. in your 'GFX description' you can say the bands name and what ever as long as its NOT on the CD label its self. you can talk away in your GFX description. in fact we would love to hear what kind of music you did listen too while making what ever you have on the CD cover. A reminder in the rules it says DO not hunt down band images (PHOTOS) and what not and then maniping them to a CD label, if you do you will be disqualified. We are looking for originality - imagination - wow factor - typography [Message edited on 10/03 @680]

I'm thinking out loud here....also since this thread is getting silly... when people start to post I will have to make a new thread... or make a thread and lock it... cause this is where I was gunna post all the peoples work... The list is HUGE (both in quantity and worth), but how is it devied-up? Do all three winners get the same prizes? Thanks Pam, GFXA, VectorPeeps, and all the sponsors for this. I may not join, but it's an excellent oppurtunity for all.

I was waiting for someone to ask that at the end I will surprise the winners what they get. there will be 1st 2nd and 3rd all prizes will be divided up. Don't worry everyone will be happy also there are more people that have not gotten back to me for sponsoring this contest so there COULD be more prizes added to the list (I hope!) or if they contact me to late I will just save those prizes for another contest PS Manifestant you should join in the fun
