Hey, i have been using photoshop for many years, but have never done digital art. So i thought i would give it a go for my A level project. Im not good at it, at all, i find getting tones and making something look real near impossible! i just cant do it... So here is something i done in about 20 minutes tonight to kill some time. Its kind of "arty, rather than real". comments welcome, dont be too harsh. Oh and i got the image from g00gle... Could do with some fine tuning but, i'm not to bothered with it to be honest.

I would suggest using the smudge tool to try to even out the tones a bit. I'm also taking an art course in my school and our teacher always tell us to use our finger to smudge the paint or crayon. So for digital art, you can use the smudge tool. It is a very nice first try though. |

I am currently studying A level art. Our teacher perfers smudgeless work when we use charcoals or pastels. I will probably mess around some more with this and see what happens. Cheers!
