This pic is half an anatomy study, and half a test of texture techniques and filters in Photoshop CS. The result may well have ruined the torso drawing, or perhaps not, but it was a useful experience to me just the same. I hope this pic will to some extent be nice to look at, even if I may have overdone the texturing. Textures were obtained from the "Imagine FX" magazine's CD.

The texturing is nice, and not to dominant. The lower part of the anatomy, though, is too sloppy and unfinished. It detracts the eye from the rest of the canvas, as it is so inconsistent with the rest of the rendering. It just looks a bit too unfinished as an overall work, but the general composition and layout is very good. |

the texturing is nice and as already said - just the lower part of the body needs some finishing touches. For inspiration or more material have a look at: www.human-anatomy-for-artist.com cheers! |
