ok, so i just threw down $1900 US for maya 2008. needless to say, that put a dent in the wallet, and i don't really have enough at the moment to pay for one of autodesk's tech support subscriptions (what a crock). anyway, i'm having problems with nurbs surfaces, in that whenever i use the rebuild surface tool, the resulting surface consists of 0 spans U and V, regardless of whatever value i specified before running the operation. this literally just started happening, over night. i've re-installed maya and posted this same question on autodesk's forums, to no avail. come on gfxartist, help a fellow (starving) artist out!

| I personally can't help you, but you may want to check the forums at http://www.cgtalk.com as well, as the 3d community is rather large, and helpful. |

Can you bring up the tool options and your object histories? If I could see those I might be able to come up with something. Or not? Did you clear your history before using the tool or no?
