Photo-Manipulation Question
Bl1nXx | 01/09/2008 @799 | Edit edit post
I want to summit my first project on this site but I am not sure if meets the set requirements. I read the rules but I am still confused on something; I created a X-mas photo for my g/f with photoshoped. What I basically did was grabbed elements I wanted in the photo off the web and a picture of a dog. I grab all the elements I needed and put it on the dog image, then did some custom tweaking (color, contrast, etc) and shading. I'm not sure how custom a project has to be, but would I be able to summit this, or does the work I have to summit have to be created all from scratch? Any help or input would much be appreciated.

On a side note, I made references to the original photos I used. On another version of the image I made I made icon-sized boxes to the right side with the original images I used. It does not even look like I used these images after all the tweaking I did.

Thank you

It's generally frowned upon to simply grab images off the web...if it's altered enough so that the original context/content can't be recognized, and you give proper credit to those who created your ref, I don't see an issue at this point. It's hard to tell when I can't see your image to begin with.
