Yes Pam, the rash of Spam that we are experiencing at the moment is best dealt with by ignoring it.

The instigators are wanting people to click on their links to increase their site traffic.

If you do follow these links you get invited to a 'mind reading' quiz that will quite feasibly just be an underhanded means of collecting personal information and details for illicit use later.

We is all over them like a rash! :)

Hopefully one the Admins will take action but even they can only ban profiles as they appear.

You have been warned people. DO NOT click the links. If they get no traffic, they'll move on.

Thank you.

I'd rather not even give it this much attention...but I guess it's best to provide some sort of guidance.

I have a running list of the accounts which unfortunately I cannot delete as I am not authorized.

I will say that every day around the same time I do a sweep.

LOL anything beyond that is a waste of their time as we all know that after recent submissions artwork pretty much loses all visibility here.

Basically the whole damn site. :r It akes some time, but I still catch it.

The only guidance that I can give is to PM me or someone above in the first post. We'll take it from there. I mostly have this taken care of by mid day EST....until the next wave hits in the morning. Seems our friends are based in India currently.

Did some research, and it seems Ebaumsworld.com and even Flickr.com have been hit by these assholes. So fyi, it's not just a GFX thing.

Don't respond...don't click...pm a mod.
