Excellent work, not sure about the darker lamp on the wall in the last image, is it the source of the light on the ground ? then if so it needs to be brighter.

Great work overall.............

If I didn't see the photo right next to it I'd tell you your perspective was all out of wack. As it turns out a skilled artist is just better than a moderately skilled photographer is at perspective. But you are painting over a photo so you rely on its perspective rather than your mind so you trust that it is right rather than using artistic license.

Furthermore, if that reflection on the ground is meant to be the lamp above, its perspective is indeed all messed up as the lamp's reflection would most certainly not be visible in the picture frame. It seems more like it is an invisible light source being reflected since it is not the same color as the lamp though. So I can't figure it out.

Yes the perspective was very strange...
So, I've completly changed the background and added some painted elements :

Aww man i was really liking the first image. The second version seems (to me) to lack the same finished image composition as the first. The first was really solid, this one seems to let your eye go TOO astray - off the page :p

I'm starting to understand what people mean when they say they don't feel knowledgable enough to comment.

This is just...wow.

Awesome job.The floor is my favorite! :) I think the landscape outside is not fitting so much - I liked better the first image (the corrected version) But if it's not finished yet - probably you can elaborate it more to bring to complete and harmonic look

I have picked up on one thing. All the textures in here look a bit too reflective and they look washed out as a result. And the perspective on the colloums is annoying.

The last image has perspective problems (background and columns do not coordinate well).
