Continuing... Step 13: Start the color of the character, setting the 1st point of light. Step 14: The hair is big in character that it seems small, it's funny but after that it seemed more cut. Step 15: Work the color of her body, and the sunlight as 2nd source of light. Thanks people, I'm very happy that the step by step has been useful!! I come today with two wips! Another SCI-FI and other Fantasy. Let's start with the first Step 1: Listening Pink Floyd + Pencil = Step 2: Lineart Step 3: Default composition color, only to guide me. Step 4: Using tools of Photoshop i create something like gap/well Step 5: Light and shadow of environment. Step 6: Starting with water Step 7: Water moviment and some lights Step 8: Details on floor and back wall. Step 9: Machines and Machines. Step 10: Details, Details and more... Details Well people, this is the first one. Ideas and criticis are welcome Come to next.

Hum, this is more simple, and i believe that finish it first. Step 1: Lineart Step 2: Work on Background, its simple, not very complicated. Step 3: I Changed the color of background, now with purple and red, much better (i think) It that. I Hope you liked Great Hugs Miguel Couto

I will comment the first image only for now. Wow, this one has striking colours! VERY good use of the complementary colours, blue and orange. I think you have developed a very good painting technique; you seem to paint effortlessly. I see that you use line arts. This is a good technique to use when you are good at drawing. However, I am terrible at drawing. Almost exactly one year ago, I completely abandoned lines as I understood it was much faster and easier to paint with shapes. In other words, Using lines works very well, but I think it's easier to use shapes. It's very hard to change our technique, but I think it's worth it. About the scenery, I think it will feel "deeper" when you will make the air more opaque. What I mean is that the clouds and rocks that are very far could have a lot less contrast. Here you can notice how there is not a lot of contrast very far away. Other than that, The fire is very well done, it looks hot and feels like it could burn someone. It looks like it's magical, not normal. I like it as it changes from the usual realistic fire. The girls is looking great so far. I think she would look even sexier if she were wearing lycra pants. I can't wait to see this piece with LOTS more details. [Message edited on 03/30 @161]

Hello great friends, although no one comment here hehehe, i decided reopen this topic, for show my new wips =). I wish explain the process better, but my limitation in the english language not do allow this, because i'm still learning, then, sorry for my mistakes. Well, this is my new painting, i'm producing a video about the steps creation (screen capture). But the files is too large, and i'll post later when i finish this piece.
