Being summer and all here in the Netherlands with pretty good temperatures I think it's about time to have the first GFXartist member "gettogether". Have a drink... spend some relaxing hours on the beach... whatever.. So I started this topic basicly to hear your suggestions, to pick a date and to see who would join us on a wild day of GFXartist fun! Our suggested place is Soul beach near Hoek van Holland. So thats actually not even far for those in Belgium! More info about Soul Beach can be found at http://www.soulbeach.nl/ Martin, Martijn and me will be there! Pick a date,and say you'll be there! Our 300 dutch members are obligated to come, Germany and Belgium have to come up with a very good excuse not to come... and the rest of the world is invited but we'll take no further actions if they decide to skip this one Anyways if there are more GFX members wanting to get together use the forum to spread time and place and also notify us so we can make a newspost! (I'll prolly read the forums too but you'll never know)

Makes me wish I lived in the Netherlands! Maybe there could be one in Australia. I have a few friends that'd go.

I wish i could be there to have fun with all the artists !!! But i am in the USA and broke as a joke of course... And i see in those pics you guys have turntables !!! Boy i wish i could be there in the netherlands .. Just Saw DJ Tiësto here in Philadelphia Last month, it would be cool to go over to his turf over there... Seems to be a lot more fun in europe ... Maybe someday ... But for all the peeps that do go have a Blast and have a drink for me !!!!

I have a brilliant Idea! For all of us in the states, of which there have to be many; We can have a simultaneous, well I dunno cause of timezones, I'll have to work that out, but we could have one here too! hehe... Ummm, welll, I live near Chicago, but for you canucks, I wouldn't be against somewhere like Toronto. I got friends there anyway! Tell me whatcha think!

Yes I love you, come to Toronto! ... *ahem* sorry got a little carried away there, would be nice to have a north american GFXartist gathering of sorts. Anyway keep the ideas flowing, so far I am interested. Hey if it's any consolation, I think hotels here are still cheap. -ZiN

Nice to have these meetings and good that someone actually organizes them. I've not been a gfx artist member for that long so like someone already said the community feeling is still a bit missing and anyway. I live in Finland so I don't think my wallet permits me to come have to see next time.
