Thanks for your comments. I appreciate them. But I seriously doubt I'll get around to completing it since it has been sitting neglected for at least 6 months. I learned a bunch of stuff in Painter while working on it - so that made it worthwhile up to a point and then it just became tedious for me. I figured if I posted it, somebody else might pick it up and use it as a practise piece also.

Honestly, it's style and your method of painting this, I dont think someone else could really breath better life into then you've already brought. Very heavily laden in impressionism. Personally i'd sign it, and call it "one of those paintings people will think highly of and you'll laugh and say : i couldnt agree less" /shrug. looks good. [Message edited on 08/15 @955]

It's absolutely charming ! Colors are great, pose is nice... You should really finish it, it would be such a shame if you do not ;-)

I could finish it , if I had time. And if I painted in a style similar to that. And if I ... okay so maybe I can't finish it. Still I agree with everyone above and I quite like the painterly style it has.
