this is a radical departure from the other work in your gallery. what led you to this render? I went and googled cryochamber so I could understand what I was looking at. not exactly sure what part of the c-chamber I'm veiwing but the comp you chose does creat quite a design. great job on the chrome! what I think are lights (?) has a wonderful impression of fingerprints. the modeling is superb; but the overall design is a bit busy for me--I might edit out what is above the 'ring of lights' and extend the sides. if the bottom is actually the top of the c-chamber it might be interesting to see more of that sphere shape to balance with the ring of lights. what about editing out the wires (?) that are assymetrical on the left?

@Phos: This is a rather old scene actually, and I just re-rendered it about a year ago or so. (I stumbled upon the *.MAX file again while cleaning up my HD).

Chyochambers are a science fiction convention.. basically it's thought to be a chamber where people can be put into a stasis like-sleep at a frozen (or deeply cooled) state for long-distance space travels. The movies Alien and it's sucessors or Lost in Space feature such chambers.

I agree, the widescreen format might have been interesting too. I think I made it this way because I am a lazy bastard and didn't want to create an off GFXartist-site version (as GFXartist only allows a width of 715 pixels).
