Hi Gary.
Loving the chromatic look and the interesting shapes.
However, I don't know if it's my screen, or the quality, or just the focus but it looks kinda "shaky" to me.
Anyways, +9/10

I'm just gonna go and vote your fractals now.

Nice intricate shot

Great patterns

Could be the trick of nature but the bottom half seems a tiny bit blurry;)

Well done + 10

I shot this with the lens up against the ice and a 2.7 F-stop and therefor a very small DOF. I know there are areas not perfectly in focus but felt it didn't impact the image negatively. I may try this type of shot with a zoom setting to try getting a larger DOF in the future.

Very nice abstract!

I too would have liked it to be just a tiny bit sharper.

A smaller aparture (higher value) could have made the trick.

Like the patterns of the ice.

A tripod would have produced the desired result here Gary. The aperture is fine. It's a shame it's so blurred. IMHO, Ice shots should be nice and sharp to bring out the intricate patterns. I like the ice pattern.

I also think a tripod could help here. Beautiful ice structure.

Beautiful macro abstract, some pretty patterns youve captured there ;)
The blurriness just seems natural to the pic IMO, its not disturbing . . .

Kinda hard to see the formations through the blurriness.

An elite photographer should do better... ;)

Yes, the photo looks good but could have been much better I think. It's kinda blurry and grainy, nevertheless, pretty cool.
