Nice Shot! Has the feel of illustration. Nice work!

The white balance seams a bit strange to me. There's a strange blue spot, almost in the center of the composition, in the green snow! . It's a bit noisy and the top light doesn't really works for me, nor do the white poles and the building in the top left. I like the lines going from one side to another, the tacks, the train, the top of the platform. But I'm sorry to say that this just doesn't works for me... Just not what I used to see here in Elite Galleries.

I think a B&W with a light blue tint would look good also.

Composition looks a bit unbalanced. Would try horizontal presentation and have less empty space.

The green cast shows that the white balance is off.

The blue spot is probably from overexposure.

@  moserArtist: "white balance setting is a basic knowledge" -- you know, it wasn't too long ago that you had no idea what "white balance" was. And it's not basic knowledge to a painter. Your critiques have been pretty pompous lately...

 DANKA: In this case the adjusted color-balance doesn't really bother me -- the greenish / reddish hues compliment each other. Unfortunately the composition is a little bland. I always enjoy a good shot of a train / station. The location has promise, but I don't think this shot really captures it.

Since your painting skills are what got you into the "elite" galleries, I would recommend creating an alternate account for your photography.

I like the color combo here, makes for a nice mood.

Would crop off most of the bottom half of the photo, starting right above the blue spot. This should help balance out the composition somewhat.
