Abdel-Halim Hafez (1929 – 1977), commonly known as (The Black Nightingale), was one of the most popular Egyptian singers and actors not only in Egypt but throughout the Middle East from the 1950s to the 1970s. He is widely considered to be one of the four 'greats' of Egyptian and Arabic music. Abdel-Halim's music is still played on radio daily in Egypt and the Arab world.
As for this design is considered one of a series of old albums have been produced in 2003, unfortunately, the photo obtained by from producer were damaged, It is therefore found that the surest way is to draw this picture.

Very well done. I think the shadows of the portrait could have been a bit darker though.

Personally I would prefer the sharp style.
Its still a great design, looks very much like him.
I like the brown colour and the simple design.

I like everything except the disk - it's breaking the atmosphere - this shape looks like very modern, hi-tech design,when the rest of design brings nostalgia and posses the warm colors. The disk looks great but not connected imo.
Very nice portrait - he has so kind eyes and I like the background strokes. Good work!

Compared to the other CD covers you designed, this one is a little boring. There aint much with it that attracts the interest of the viewer, at least not me. I think just using a more interesting and uncommon font would help a great deal.
His face is painted in a blurry, unsharp way, I think making the painting sharper and more clear would look good.
