Description
Being on visit in Israel gives great opportunities for photography.Amoung those nature, architecture and moreover the mix of people.
It is a meltpot of people from all over the world with different cultures and religions. You find both the ultra ortodox jews as well as the modern israelis.
Jerusalem is more of the old, traditional and religious.
Tel Aviv is the modern city with the beach, shops, restaurants and fantastic outdoor evening life. The people there are aware of the latest fashions and it is such a gap between those 2 cities. Like a decade separating these cities.
This particular composition was taken on the main walking street - Ben Yehuda in central Jerusalem.
I like the way it turned out with the 2 gentleman talking to each other.
The atmosphere is just there! Could spend hours and days in this spot!
Hope you will enjoy!
PS.
For the mood I preferred the bw with a tiny tint of yellow in post.

Great characters, emphasized by the presence of younger and more 'modern' looking ones at the background. Like in Jerusalem.
The four of them form a nice diagonal line for the composition. The fifth looks like a manikin or some character from "Onedin line".
A very well taken 'planned street shot'.

I really like how the background looks.....is not distracting and enhances the main subject.......beautiful tonalities!

If this had been my photo here are the comments you would most likely have pointed out should have been different
1. I would have liked the chair should be fully in the image - the crop feels a bit too tight
2. I would have liked if the two men were a bit off center
3. I would have like if there was a bit more space in the right of the photo in the direction the man is looking.
Otherwise ALL GOOD
Very nice shot
PS Forgot to mention I would love some kids playing with a ball to the right

Anyway, I always enjoy your "street photography." Nice composition, excellent tones, and the sepia works well here.
