Description

This is the station of subway in Oporto near my university named "Pólo Universitário"...I love the effect of the lights on the roof...

The guy on the stairs is  Carinho to whom I dedicate this photo...

Photo taken with my eternal SONY P-10...

Hugo is the frame supposed to look like that, ie only the left and bottom framed or is it a problem with the size and upload of the shot? I like the composition with the people walking in the stairs moving towards the subway but the frame makes it look like some of the shot has been cut off, or at least that is my opinion

The frame is supposed to be like that...And the shot haven't been cut...I liked the frame like that but yes it possibly makes people think the photo as been cut...

Nothing wrong with trying something new and it is just a matter of taste. The actuall photo itself is still a really good shot, frame or no frame :)

I'm not going to worry about the frame but I do enjoy this photo. It has a wonderful perspective and I enjoy the tonal range. Perhaps a bit more contrast (not much) would give this a little more oomph.

Very nice work Hugo!

yep, you do need to get more contrast to your b&w photos, this one is lovely, and i don't usually fall too much for architectural photos :)

interesting work!
stylish compo, nice b/w
but would rather like not to see the women on the escalator on the right
i'd guesst something would be missing if they weren't there... maybe a sticker at the bottom of the escalator?

how much did you pay the rest for posing that perfectly ? ;)
like the scene very much. many familiar poses.
7/8

edit: bah.. everyones posing perfectly but that damn women!!
really nice
edit2: agree with michell about contrasts
