Description
Hi guys, here's my latest attempt t painting a polished environment piece. This one is meant to convey a cold, eerie atmosphere with a slight mystical presense. The storybehind this is the adventurer has discovered an ruined monastery that hides an ancient forgotten druid tomb. The massive metal cross has been placed to ward off any evil that might escape it.

kittyKat - I appreciate the tip, what I really meant was 'first view critique' - the first person to view the picture gave a comment. I've never seen that happen before and had to note it ;-)

Juro, BillCorbett, cupcake, edro, sifferet - Cheers! I'm glad you like it.
Andy_Jones - Those swirls are based on the ones found carved into Dolmen tombs in Ireland. The Mystics houses and clothing were probably inspired by Celtic designs. Now I want to see the film again!
kittyKat - Thanks for adding the link to your tutorial page, btw
starqueen - Haha, thanks but this isn't at that level yet. Maybe one day when I get a LOT of free time, I can refine it to that quality ;-)
