Description
Dedicated toInfo: A shot of a wing that I found lying in the tall grass about 50m from my house, I have no idea what species it belongs to or how it ended up being separated from its owner.
Any comments or critique are as always greatly appreciated :]

I still think that the wing looks a little overexposed and lacks details.
What time of the day did you take it? Maybe capturing this on another time of the day with less strong light would be slightly better...
Keep up the good work!

I enjoy the strong textures of this photo and that the grasses and the wing's extures follow the same patterns. Nice contrast between light and dark tones.
I would imagine that this swan or Snow Goose perhaps found it's demise via a large predator or a hunter.
Thanks again Jan!
Hugs,
Michelle

The contrast between the smooth white feathers against the thicker rough grass really pulls this image together.
Looking at the ends of the wing leaves the impression that it was a violent end for this bird. And adding more of the other bit of wing at the top would state that much stronger. I see this image as a metaphor for mankind's struggle for peace and how elusive it is to gain it.
This is an excellent image. One of my favorites.
