The snake itself is okay, but the lighting attributes supporting it suggest that you've used a 'drop-shadow' tool or similar? Drop-shadow is cool for 2D graphics and web-banners, but unfortuanately do no favours for 3D surface work as the manipulation does not (usually) allow for underlaid contouring. Also drop-shadows tend to 'leak' somewhat as you increase the softening effect, offering more of a dark corona than an accurate light-source controlled effect. However, if you have not used such a tool here, I apologise for the mini lecture and might suggest that the problem is that you have manually 'leaked' your snake's shadow to both sides, which in turn has given the main subject a flattening effect..
Regardless of this one small upset, this is a totally beautifully rendered piece of work and one of the most comfortable portraits I've seen in some time. I can only imagine how much time and care you've put into this.
Well done Milica. +10
