Description
My first step into unknown area. I have never painted landscape and this one just happened ... somehow. It's painted from scratch, without any refference. But ufffffff with a lot of hit/miss experiments with brushes.

Curently I have few other landscapes/citiscapes in WIP, but man, I have lack of time!
Big thanks to everyone for suggestions!

awesome

Anyway, I like that thing to the left, further towards the horizon, though I don't know what it is... But it's a nice detail in focus.
Why not do more of this kind?

After I will finish my curent WIPs I will start experiments with matte-painting. With several unpublished landscape photographs I surely have enough material to work with.

Don't know what those big things in the bg are, but they work well!

But still an excellent job!

The atmosphere is pretty good and the fog works really well. Only one crit here: the foreground on the right (bottom) suddenly seems to grow in perspective with the rest of the mountain. It's as if this part is zoomed in on and the rest is much farther than it should be.

I think the overall mist is beautiful. The fog is imo a bit "rough" (that is a choice of brush I guess). I think it could have been a tad smoother. Also, I didn't notice the "space-like-objects" in the background until a little later...maybe there could have been an "eye-catcher" in the foreground?
However, I will enjoy your future work in this genre as much I already enjoy your photography! I really love this!

I like the mist, it sets it apart from a photo.
