Description

Title inspired by Sentenced. Hope this isn't to dark for your monitor, it fits mine perfectly :)

Taken early in a forest, when I originally wanted to capture some sunrays.. well, hope you like it

I would like to see it being cropped more from both sides and hopefully get an even better feeling of perspective.
Can you also post the color version?

Dark, yes, but I don't think I'd change much about that as it adds to the photos appeal. I might try increasing the whites a bit as it does need a bit of balance to all the dark areas. The crop is fine as is but in order to gain a little more sense of depth I might try having the camera closer to the ground. It sometimes adds a sense of large scale to the shot.
Overall very well done.

Hmm.. yep, moving the camera more to the ground looks like a good idea to me, thx for the idea.. i tried incresing the whites, but it didn't feel right.. it was either too bright or too dark for me

Everything is just right here! : ) the only critic I feel is that, if there would have been variety of contrast…this would have been better…nonetheless it’s a great shot!
I love forests, unknown place, who knows the headless rider, might be lurking somewhere there…hihi! :p

I like this, it might have been better if the foreground was a bit brightet when you took it but i can see why you would want it like this. Perhaps a bit more of contrast.

one more thing, I'm a better writter than an artist so i would have to argue about the title, it sounds great but not very linked to what i see in the picture, more like going towards the depths of infinity or something like that. just a comment that has nothing to do with your abilty to take a good photo

If there was more fog it would have been a perfect shot. But still very nice one.
