Usually I am not much for Fan Art, but I ran across a promo photo for a Zorro Movie and thought it would make a great painting and a good exercise for textures. Painted in Painter with a Wacom Tablet and Intous pen.Comments and Crtiques appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Yes - suppose to be Catherine Zeta-Jones - I figured it out immediately without reading notes. Something doesn't look like she. Still great work.

Nice! I like the choice of background colours. You probably need to consider colour interaction a bit more - her skin, for instance, is pretty much monochrome, the vest is its own brown, and it is possible that the vest would reflect some light off onto her skin (just as an example). Having the colours interact will make the piece 'pop' more. (Reading Loomis will be helpful to understand... www.saveloomis.org)

You've done a very good job on the detailing of her dress though.
