Concept:Very strong |
Technical Skill:Strong |
Impact/impression:Very strong |
Pros:Metallic textures work well, overall. There's a nice mix of primary and secondary colors throughout. This ...war-bug concept... is further defined by the stance, tattered wings, and spiked metal armor.
Cons:The spikes near the creature's elbows do not match proportions. Blurry metallic elements could be defined further. The best example of this would be the gauntlet holding the upper end of the pike. There appear to be rivets on the sinister hand and not the dexterous. Shadows at the feet do not hold the shape of the form casting the shadow.
Overall opinion/feedback:I think it's a well thought out crisp and clear concept presentation. I would like to see it further developed with an interactive background & action sequence to add energy to the contrasting colors, metallic reflections, and overall mood.

like especially those shredded wings! and the wires around the joints.
maybe the toes need a tiny(!) bit more definition and some really small really dark shadows around the feed to finish perfectly.
