Description

Taking steps to greatest heights,
can you bear to see the sight?

Ambition and self-criticism is a both deadly and progressive combination. By choosing the path of an artist you have to be willing to bear your mistakes and prepare for another one, for every work can be failure just as well as success. And all this time you have to remain honest with yourself and others. Every piece of art you create is a piece of yourself.

Well, one work leads to another. I felt like having reached a standstill. Just needed to try out some new colours and techniques.

Adobe Photoshop 7, original size 4000x6000

FABULOUS. The meaning, the symbolism and their execution is just FANTASTIC. I mean, you're so young and yet you are one of the most 'deep' artists around. I love the philosophy behind your paintings.
I wish I could vote more than this 10..

not bad idea, though by looking your painting only, one can't very well figure out what's going on.

Beautiful image! Very surreal feeling, yet with deep meaning. But it took me quite a while to understand the full meaning (with a little help from your description). But I try to figure out what's going on in a painting first before I read the descriptions. Helps me to see if the piece has a powerful first impression. I actually thought she was a writer at first that couldn't come up with any inspiration to create. Then the empty frame helped pull things together. After the meaning was fully present, then I could appreciate it much more. Technically brilliant for the most part.

your work is so profound and inspiring. Lately I wanted to paint something other than just pretty ladies and flowers, and your painting just takes my breath away.
