Description

I evolve in the creative emptiness of my surroundings. Inspiration gone, my mind finds reasons to create in the shelter of my autistic world. All nude in this weak oasis and my feelings as well, I'm trapped in the jail that I silently build.

This is beautiful. Indeed it has a Dali touch to it, and the choice of colours has such a soothing effect. Wonderful piece.

Very nice.
Two questions for you: 1) what program did you use? and 2) how long did it take?

to ChrisThatGuy ...
1) hmm.. i guess i don't post art on the right website, since i don't use 'programs' :/
This oil paint on canvas.
2) about 3 months, but i don't know the exact duration, i think less than a hundred hours. That was quite fast compared to other works i did!

Extremely nice, I almost thought it was Salvador Dali's painting. If you add more contrast of colors to the painting and deform the guy a little more you could pass off for a Dali artist. I would like to see more depth though (going torward the horizon it gets a little darker. thats about it as its already very nice.

A very beautiful pic. there's a lot missing in the background that makes the picture lost... an intense core and none at the back! there's no slide down or slightly vanishing affect... it would've been more fab, if the tree's twigs were represented in a better, intense and more realistic manner.
Thank you
overall... a highly impressive idea, and very inspiring... original.

I disagree, The lack of emphesis on the background draws your attention back
where it`s supposed to be in the first place, on the man.
But thats only my opinion.
don`t sell yourself short, If it`s good art created by the work of your own hands.
It belongs. besides, 100 hours! thats alot of blood sweat and tears for your work.
Any beatnik would be proud of that.
and you should too.

Bravo!!!

I try not to find similarities in art but its differences. Whether this piece has a Dali feel or not isn't important. It is unique in feeling as it is in content.
It is definately one of my favorites. I just wish I had the time to practice and make some of the wonderful pictures in my own mind. Very well done. Do another like this, would ya?

I am incredibly impressed to say the least. The statement enhances the artwork and vice versa. Great work, I look forward to seeing more of your work! ^^
