i really like the illustrations but not feeling the background and text too much.

This is a excellent poster - something I would wanna have on my walls for sure. Especially the members of the band are very well made. You seem to have captured the expression and personality very well. The background fits too and I have no idea how you could have made it any different. looks like a rock/punk band.

The full version is amazing. Maybe we could get to see the references you've used for the faces?

Woah!!! thanks peeps! i'm glad you like 'em , to tell you honestly l'm quite a struggling artist here and the only thing that keeps me going are people like you guys who'm i've got something in common with and who appreciate the things that i do here in gfx, sorry for letting this out I was just feeling down on my way here in the office, paying my rent and not having enough for myself sucks, but thanks for your positive comments, it really cleared out the dark cloud on me, i'm also listening to Eisley's "Mr. Pine" right now,hehe, see i'm laughing now, thanks! im surprised no-one mentioned this but you have problems with shadow-casting:

(from left to right
character 1: light left to right, shadow on left should be on right
character 2: light left to right, shadow on left should be on right
character 3: ok
character 4: light right to left, shadow on right should be on left
character 5: ok

yeah i noticed that too.. the light hits their faces all differentl but most fo the shadows are on the lit sides instead of the shaded sides. +10 though. Eisley's great..

Well the shadow casting on each of the band members was intentionally done, with the song's concept (Marvelous Things), which is somehow refering to weird stuff that is creepy yet lovely at the same time, i just carried the shadows along with it in order to balance it with the bizzare background, and it's my own style of unbalancing things in order to balance the whole as one, the rules of shadow casting for me is more followed on traditional pieces, and i'm somehow breaking that rule in my works , i've been doing traditional works with traditional rules since i started to paint, so now i'm breaking some of it to show that somehow you need to fracture things in order to be less mediocre and be different from the commonly known stuff, but this work was for the sake of the concept and also to individualize each band member so that nobody gets overshadowed by one of them. Thanks for noticing the shadow casting cuz you've given a chance to explain things clearly, thanks also for voting too! Ciao!
