Description

once there was a hippo born with fairy wings. but it was too heavy and fat so it couldn´t fly.
the hippo sat all night on a small hill and watched the sky.

I know it looks very simple and the gras tool was used too.. gna. but i wanted to create a fairy tale atmosphere and that´s what came out.. and another pic with a small tentacle. I think I love unhappy endings...

the hippo was for engelszorn, who loves hippos. ^_^ hope, you like it, beb.

looks a bit unfinished, and i think it needs more work, miss some textures on the skin especially lighting, sky is nice...

Hug.. my poor Hippo. But seriously, if I had wings like that, I probably couldn't fly as well - but they are glowing. Just think of all those books I could've read during the night hiding under my blanket!

Agree with Gune on the lightning on the hippo. Still..I like the grass, sparks and the rest of the lightning. You succeed in creating the fairytale-mood.

the lighting on the grass and hippo is great, love everything about this except the perfectly round nature of the hill top, needs some variation, to look more naturalistic.
