Description
I did this last year sometime.It was supposed to just be an environmental piece,but felt too bland afterwards and I added the hairy beast bathing.This is looser than other works of mine,since I did a lot of blocking in colors and only refining them slightly for the b/g.I wanted to evoke that midday feeling of being in the sun with bright intensity depending on where your eye is focused.With everything seeming a little washed out.The usual method:Sketched,scanned and painted in Painter 7.

I like the colourscheme, the water and treas are great
Not sure about the light, I imagine a midlight day to be "whiter" and brigther but it depends on where you live I suppose...

I really like this for it's peacefulnes.
Also the subject is quite interesting.
