Very cute indeed Some of your inexperiance with digital coloring does show. There is some soft edge where a hard edge was call for (door frame close to those crack in the rock for exemple). Some more shading on the rock face would have made it more dynamic (oblique dark gradient from bottom to top). I would have expected some more brighter color on something this cartoony. But all in all excellent first work!!

Great Work for a first Attempt! - would suggest you sharpen up the contours of the wood around the door, and the top of the sign, as they kind of pull the attention away from the characters slightly. Other than that, brilliant.

Once again many thanks to you all. @ jawine: That's an interesting idea. My idea was to put the flowers in the centre as the most saturated part. I'm not sure if that works. I'm not so happy with the flowers anyway. They looked fine in the sketch. Hm, and there will be a new one as soon I have the guts to finish another.
