The proportions look very good and the facial features are nicely drawn. The clothing seems a bit unfinished and I would add some more light/dark contrast throughout, but otherwise this is a very good portrait drawing... If you made the background a dark shade, I bet her face would contrast nicely...nice work +8

Very nice sketch. I love the soft touch you used for her eyes and hair. Something that is very difficult for me. I'm heavy handed when I draw and probably won't be able to draw something looking delicate like this. Want to know how your Mother felt about this one. I'm assuming she was very touched and pleased Maridol
