this is my last illust. I sketched it some days ago, and yesterday and today I've painted it. I wanted to draw a "pirate", and here it is.
my brother says thatshe seems to marleine threepthwood, a character from de monkey island.... I didn't know her, so I don't know....

this young pirate dreams to became a "great" pirate some day. while, she is saving XD

tools: sketched and "inked" with pencil, coloured with photoshop.
time: 10-12 hrs. aprox. (I spent a lot of time for each illust.. I'm very slow...U_U)

Nice style of illustrating, but i think it needs more work to be fully complete...I like your colors though...and you could do the cavewalls better

Very neat little illustration.

My only crit is the white around the daydream bit is a little hard edged...I prefer the gradiant on the 'reality' background colours.

But that's a minor point...I do like this a lot.

Wonderful feeling, and you can catch me with a pirate picture every time since I saw The Crimson Pirate with Burt Lancaster when I was a little kid.

What I don't like are those photoshop bubbles. Instead of a straight line it drops these bubbles every few centimeters. I'm not sure if your compi is too slow or it is a problem with the program, but you should find a workaround for it.

Awesome work, very cool idea and execution. I just think the "real world" girl is not so good as the pirate.
