I did this piece for the "New Epilogue Contest" The ultimate Dragon.
I wanted to play with the light, started wint a black background. You can see the progress at Ultimate Dragon
basicaly, Drawing, scanned then photoshop CS.

I like to have all your comments. P.S. This is my first illustration in over a year.

Texture, reflection, lighting and background are all great. I think the composition is a little too tight on the dragon though, as he feels a bit crammed-in towards the top left corner. I think some more space would be beneficial, and some more of that excellently eerie background couldn't hurt

Looks absolutely cool. No wonder the dragon looks bad tempered. I would not know how to get sleep with those horns.
