Although this is very well done I don't like the fact that you used the painting of another artist and manipulated it. I believe a photomanipulation is when your source is a photo not a painting. If I was the author of the original one I would be angry at seeing that my work has been manipulated. Sure, you're not claiming it as yours but I don't think this is right. Sorry, but this is just the way I think.

I think it's a really cool work of art. IMHO the only cheating you can do in art is to take anothers piece of art and putting your name on it without changing it a bit!

Look at the history of art. There are very famous pictures that are just "painting"-manipulation of another!

I'm not into this kind of stuff, don't really like it. But the skills used here are amazing. Great job!

Aside from the issue of the original artists feeling on this piece. Firstly, The colors of both Wolverine and the Hulk are pretty close to their actual colors. Second the pose on the other hand works for the works for the original artist just not here. It fails to work based on the fact the Hulk is biting into Wolverine, a better subject may have been Mike Tyson Vs. Evander Holyfield.

Oh yeah. Thanks for the comment. But it was created for a contest where we had to put a superhero into an art piece.

Hulk is savage at times...not above biting at all.

Hmm. I was tempted to put this into photomanipulation as well even though it wasnt a photo, because it is so incredibley close to the original it's not funny Although the colour is well done you haven't really changed much.

As it stands, the major region you actually PAINTED (wolverines headpiece) is too shiny.
