Hello again GFXers! This shot was taken on the Anhinga Trail at the Florida Everglades. This is my third addition of the Lubber Grasshopper, the largest grasshopper in North America. This is a mature Lubber. Enjoy.EXIF Information:

Almost looks like a shot from a movie. Like the camera will pan up focus on what's ahead, and it'll have nothing to do with the grasshopper.
I'm going to give you a +10, just cause you used "Matrix Metering"

Anyway, I agree with Brandon about the perspective and DOF--they do indeed make this shot. You've also nailed the composition, colours and sharpness. Combine those elements with a title that fits the photo and it's a winning combination.
