This picture was taken on the same night as the "Coloured Barrels" piece

This picture was taken on a deralict building site, it looked like the site had been cleared ready for construction as there was a sign with the new builing on it, but you could tell that Travelers or "Jippsys" had been on the sign and the entrance was now blocked off to stop re-entry.

What lead me to take this photo was the smashed childrens toys on the floor, convayed a message of the speed at which they left and the life that they lead.

Anyway after a partial De-Sat' i was left with this piece and all it needed was a boared

Interesting composition man! I'm not a huge fan of this image being desaturated altought I haven't seen the original. I think possibly a split tone may have worked a little better. Your shot in itself is great! I don't think you need to "colorize" the toys to get your point across as those are really your only subjects in your image besides the newspaper in the background. Keep it up man, I like what you have going on here as far as the idea goes! +9

Maybe taking this from a lower angle getting more of a perspective would increase the composition?!

After seeing your original photo, I think you made the right choice. I tried to apply a split tone to it and it didn't work as well as your desat. Another suggestion to you would possibly be a partial desat since you have many greens in your original photo! None-the-less, still a good piece!

Nice idea!....the desaturation works very well!
Post just one a day ....many people miss the first one!
And you can post only 6 works a month!
