Description

A submission for a contest on an online forum. I haven't sent it in yet. Let me know which version you guys like better -- the main one, or the shiny one.

This is pretty different from my other stuff in terms of style/ colors. I used Painter from start to finish.

i like them both a lot but have to say i'm more a fan of the non shiny version. the work of the transparency of the cloth is very skillfully done! +7/7

Nice image... like the way her dress melts into the water.
The golden lighting is very effective.

Lovely! I've been following your work for several years now, and I must say I like the direction you're going with this one, especially. <3 your technique, and--oooh!--that translucent veil is to die for!! It looks to me as though her head may be placed too far forward off the neck, and her left hand might be a teensy bit beefy (or paw-like?) for such a delicate individual, but those aren't glaring faults. Love how the wings hold up the veil; kinda reminds me of those horned medieval headdresses. As for which one I prefer... that's tough, but I think I like the original one. It seems a bit richer, though both are yummy! :)

Blimey I totally missed this one when you published it! You have taken a more earthy direction with your solours...not using your trademark pastel pallette as much here, but it is still deffo your style.

I'd like to see some sky or something in that blank spave at the top and behind her,but apart from that, lovely work.

exellent work on the colours and on the background!
just maybe the water could be more detailed but it's ok, this picture is so awesome... :)
