Nope. I don't use 3D or use it as references. Although people say alotta my stuff looks 3Dish. I didn't intend for that...it just turned out that way. Thanks though .

wow this piece is simply gorgeous! The figure is fantastic and I love the structure behind her! You may want to try adding some grain to the skin to get some texture in there, though it's by no means necessary. +7/7

!! Holy pickled ginger, that water is beyond beyond sweet. Looovely definition of form, mmm. And how could I complain about the sketchiness of the background when the figure is so lovingly rendered and clearly the focus of the piece? That would be a sin. I feel like her nose might be slightly more turned or skewed than the rest of her face, but only if I try to get reeeally picky. Ah, heck, this is pretty close to flawless.

i wouldn't worry about the water seeming mercurial, it makes the scene seem more ethereal . . i think its fitting.
