lmao, i dont like the person, but the painting is awesome ( in no way do i want to offend by saying that i dont like him, so sorry if anyone is in fact offended) any ways, i love the little pose on this guy, so cute, one thing though, i think some of the shadows could be a little darker, like under the hat, great work!!!

i love your style - you are very talented!!!!! i like how W. appears to have an impish, almost childish look about him - like a little kid who got involved with something that he knew was way out of his league, yet he did it anyway??? he's just a puppet on a string - his boys are showing him the way... we like to use him as the scapegoat but do you really think that one person has the ability to make the mistakes that have been made??? this whole administration is accountable as well as this whole country for voting for them in the first place or not voting at all!!! and this is what your caricature arouses in me - think about what others will think when they see it!!!

Thank you for your comments. I am not affended by your comments nor do I think anyone else should be. Personally, I happen to respect the man. He has taken the unpopular position of doing what he feels is right for America. He makes the hard decisions and stands by them, right or wrong. Although I don't agree with all his decisions, I respect him for making the decisions that others can't or won't.

This is interesting and fairly well done, but I'd make one recommendation regarding caricatures: make the caricature an exaggeration of the individual...not an exaggeration of someone else's caricature. This has all the hallmarks of a George Bush caricature--small eyes, big ears, prominent chin-- but it doesn't look like George Bush.

Good caricatures are hard. This one is close, but not quite there for me.

I can assure you that the only reference I used for this caricature were photos of the President, some of him in a cowboy hat. Maybe the reason this caricature looks so much like other's is because we are all playing on his most prominent features.

Yeah, that's possible The caricatures of important world players are so pervasive in our culture, it's hard not to be influenced by what's considered a dominant characteristic. Either way, it's a good drawing, but I really wouldn't see Bush in this one if it weren't for the scads of other caricatures that have already set me up to expect big ears, squinty eyes, etc. I hope that makes some sense

i just breezed through a bunch of AP photos and this nose looks a bit more true to form. I did notice that in just about every picture, Bush's mouth hangs open, and he almost always looks like a raving maniac!
