Description

It's extremely hot today so I headed for shade and kinda liked what I saw. A few images with varying exposure were used to try to achieve a good balance using PS's HDR merger. I then made a few adjustments in PS in hopes of achieving a similar result produced with an infrared lens.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Carlos, I took your suggestion and healed out the branch. I actually have never used the heal tool in photoshop before and am impressed by it's ease of use and good results. I've added the original image to additional links.

Very beautiful image here; great post-production work. Only real crit is that the foreground looks a bit unnatural to me; the shadows and mid-tones are bit over-darkened. Overall nice work. +9
