Description

This is a reworked version of my first ever image, I've always liked it the most, as it was the starting grounds for all my current creations.

Figured I'd go back to it, and touch it up with some of the things I've learned over past two years, to make it better.

This is kinda between drawing and Painting, not sure which category is best. drew the sketch of the angel and some of the chaos around him, then painted it over so many times it kinda morphed into this. I'll stick it in Design for now as a Wallpaper.

I like the contrasts and overall design. Well done!

I'm a fan of symmetry.

What I really like is the texture that seems overlayed in the upper portion. This gets lost in the bottom part, and is stretched and/or motion blurred away from the center (guessing an overall radial blur). The soft lines from this only brings you closer to the high contrast middle yellow and further from the green.

good stuff, you should touch up all your old images.

The top texture your speaking was an overlay, but i only applied it behind the angel, but his body is covering it up on the lower half. i think i should of had the abstract waves be the same shade, but i didn't notcie it until you said that. :)

Very beautiful. The sharp center with softer outer elements really pulls the eye inward. Nice color palette as well. Good work! +9

i'm not a big fan of symmetry, i'm afraid
i'm missing some lower elements, looks just like the pic was stretched to fit the compo
what i do like are the colours and the focus on the central part:)

I think it looks great!

The whole rythme pulls your eyes all the way

back again:)

This amber colors and crisscrossing pattern are wicked. It reminds me of a stained glass window in a church. For a "design" to be so dramatic is not very common-- nice work!

kinda everything... started off as drawing that i made symetrical.. then started addng tectures to it and coloring it with paintbrush and selection tool, and ended up with like 30 color layers that i used layer filters to merge together
