well it looks some what like the ref http://www.ciclidi.it/_DUST/GFX/WIP/DAMIAN-Ref.jpg except you change the left hand and changed a little bit off the photo and the head looks like it came from another ref photo just first impressions
the head looks like it doesn't belong to the body

I friggin love those books! Well... The ones before Laurell turned the series into smut novels.

But great rendition of Damien. I love the hair and the textures on the clothing. I'm absolutely amazed that this doesn't have a higher score. Personally, I think it should be in the top five of the painting category just for your work on the clothing (must have been a pain in the ass).

I'd love to see your rendition of Anita or Richard.

i cannot tell you how long i worked on the "coat" and bust and sword and face and.....etc ... etc...

Well I certainly am very impressed with the level of detail in the coat! You have way more patience than me. It is exquisite. I just feel that his head is a bit too small and the level of detail, although good isnt as good as the rest of his body.

Wicked detail though and I am sorry I missed this one. Keep it up you are very good.

Wow, the time you put into the embellishments and details really shows. His right shoulder sits a bit oddly in an otherwise well done painting. I just keep looking at the head and the shoulder trying to rationalize how they sit and I can't.

it is a very brilliant adaptation of Damian. i have to say though as you work you way down he becomes more detached from the background. (and just a character remark: i never thought damian to be "lustful" his face seems to portray that) the hair is amazing and i love the pose.

Exceptional work on all the details and patterns..I love his rockstar pants! I want a pair of those too Think there are some minor anatomical issues. The position of the head/neck looks a bit awkward and forced. But I have to give you a 10 for the amazing work you've done with the fabrics.

Another exceptional work!! Though, I think Your version of LKH's Damian and my character Damian would be something to see side by side. LOL
