I think this is one of your more dynamic scenes in regard to the perspective and layout of the different planes of the piece. I’m for sure going to check it out again tomorrow. This is just perfect for a children's book illustration... not only it leaves us to wonder on its realted story but it also transports us to the peculiar place you figured in here. The shading is absolutely fantastic, great sense of volume everyone, joined by a delightful amount of detail on the grass... even the clouds are just perfect in all their smoothness. +8! Nice sense of depth on the rolling hill where this castle resides. The grasses in the left front ground really draws your eye down and up the hill, nicely done. Some additional dark areas on the left portion of the sky could make a smoother transition between the left and right. Nice shadow work at the forest line, soft and fits well.

Your technical skills are of course always amazing (I take that as a given by now, lol) and most of your work is already above and beyond, but I think this is my favorite!
