Description
This is a rework of my last painting submitted here.I wasn't very happy with the face, so I re-painted it. Did a little studies of the classic masters' paintings, and ref using my own face in the mirror. I personally think this is better than the last version, which was painted straigh from a quick sketch in anime-ish style. Somehow I felt the not so realistic face didn't look that nice when it's rendered so. I was quite happy with the armour so I did little change for it.
C&C welcome!
Painted in photoshop.

The face has more appealing proportions now.
The armour is greatly done, but perhaps some scratches
here and there could be added...just a thought.
The ear seems a bit odd
Great work + 9

I am also loving her hair - it looks so soft and is flooding so well.
You also did such a great job on the lightning and coliring of this figure.
BTW thank you very much for your help on the Chinese websites. I was too busy to respond till now but I still wanted to let you know that I am thankful

Aaron,
Thanks! Now, maybe I should try give it a background...
Wallace,
Yay I am glad this turns out to be an improvement! I fixed the ear stuff and hope this worked out fine now.
Azurelle,
you are very welcome! I am glad to be able to help
kittyKat,
Nothing wrong with your memory. I reworked the image and submitted it as a new one. I wanted to be able to get comments even from people who's seen the old version.
klyph,
Actually I agree with you one the lighter eyes, so I brought they back
pawlack,
That's a good suggestion. Now looking at it I think the colour on the armour seems to be a bit plain.

some points that i think can help elevate it a bit:
* more shadow on the area of her right eye, due to the overhanging hair.
* more contrast in the armour to make it more metallic.
* her ear should be a bit lighter, since it's directly in the light.
thumbs up!

This new version its better for sure. She looks young but more mature.
The thoughtful expression was great.
