This is the first painting I attempted in this kind of style. It is featured on the back cover of Fear Agent #7 from Image comics. Hope you like it!

Great idea. Sense of danger is low because the tenticles aren't really interacting with the man, since they are only wrapped around him in loose sort of manner. Individual areas that make up this piece are all really well done, however they don't intergrate enough to establish a strong scene presence. Since this seems to take place underwater considering the colors used for the surrounding environment, but the man and tenticles don't seem to have any affect from water. This is most noticable on his face, which looks too dry and lacks blue overtone to bring it more into this scene.

Ioneorbit: The scene isn't actually underwater, but that's probably my fault for not making it obvious. The water thing never occured to me when I was working on this.

I like this very much, colours and comp are both great. My only crit is that I'm not keen on the shadow where the tenticle meets the figure, seems a little flat compared to the rest of the image. Other than that, great!
