Photoshop and Painter here. It was one of those pics that went through a lot of reworking to recapture the feeling I had in the original sketch.

nice work!

but I'm not sure about the blue background anyway... perhaps it should have more white elements in it like snow to get that winter/frost feeling?

Or at least try to add this blue of the background at the girls shadows and light - cause she's not the part of this world for sure, unless you wanted it to be so..
I think it's very gentle and sencitive - I like it.Good work on textures and details

The painting and anatomy is very good! I just agree that she is not inserted in the ambient and maybe her shadows are too light.

Her face and hair look really great. I agree with Pirotess and curlyhair about the background, though.

Girl are right, she doesn't seem to be affected by the background in anyway.
That said, she's pretty foxy
