Description
Finished it about 3 days on and off.I am not very happy with some things here, namely the lack of a sense of scale, the smoke and some colors.
Anyway I thought I would move on to other things and keep it as it is.
Tell me what to work on if you have time.

Brilliant landscape -- I like the lighting from the lava and the barren ash-covered ground. The smoke is as I'd said a little too sharp, but I like its solid feel.

very nice! Is there any chance on you making a tutorial?
I've been trying to digitally paint stuff this realistic for what feels like ages.. but I guess I just suck at painting

I agree on the crits, will keep that in mind for the next one.
TJVision: I'd be happy to help you out if i can-
just message me or mail me if you want.
I don't think I am anywhere in the position
to write a tutorial though, I am lacking too many basics for that.

Yeah I struggle with the scale thing too. Just to give you some helpful tips on scale: i think you could try making the mountain taller and the ground detail smaller. Their are large ground plates that look like cracks on the ground. If you were to see them from the distance you are looking at the mountain it would be smaller than a human foot. ( but would take you weeks to do) You could also try lowering your horizon line to make the background mountains lower than the vocano giving it a more massive appearance...
But again doing fantastic work like yours would take up so much time!
Great work dude!
